Tom Stables moves to Non-Executive Director role as Keith Dorling becomes Chief Executive Officer 

The Coach Travel Group (CTG) has announced changes to its senior leadership team, with Tom Stables moving from Chief Executive Officer to Non-Executive Director and Keith Dorling joining the Group as Chief Executive Officer. 

Tony Simmons appointed Commercial Director at Johnsons Coaches

Johnsons Coaches, part of The Coach Travel Group, has appointed Tony Simmons as Commercial Director, bringing more than 27 years of experience in the bus and coach industry to the Warwickshire-based operator.

Tony initially joined Johnsons as a Commercial Consultant, where he quickly developed an appreciation for the company’s people, reputation and commitment to quality. His new role will see him lead the company’s Private Hire sales function alongside its Own Products team, which covers holidays, tours and day trips.

Johnsons Coaches played a major role in keeping athletes, officials, sponsors and event staff moving throughout the Birmingham 2026 European Athletics Championships, delivering a large-scale transport operation across the city.

The Warwickshire-based coach operator provided transport for a major share of the Corporate & Sporting Events Management operation at Alexander Stadium, connecting athletes and officials with hotels across Birmingham and supporting a number of event partners and organisations.

Worthing Coaches Set for Historic Journey as Worthing FC Begins National League Adventure

Worthing Coaches is preparing for one of the longest trips in English football as it transports Worthing FC and its supporters to the club's historic opening fixture in the National League.

Following promotion last season, Worthing FC will compete in the fifth tier of English football for the first time in the club's 140-year history.
