The Coach Travel Group partners with JCA Adventure to make school trips easier

JCA Adventure

The Coach Travel Group has announced a new partnership with JCA Adventure. It brings together two specialist travel organisations with a shared goal: to make organising school trips simpler for schools across the UK.

Through the partnership, schools travelling with JCA Adventure's specialist educational travel brands will be given The Coach Travel Group's details, so they have a coach company to contact if they choose to. Any transport booking is made directly between the school and The Coach Travel Group.

JCA Adventure runs tailor-made residentials at Condover Hall in Shropshire and Croft Farm in the Cotswolds.

Teachers carry a lot when they take young people away, and transport is often one of the trickiest parts to arrange. The partnership gives schools one more option to make that easier. Schools remain free to choose any transport provider they prefer.

Matt Hobbs, Commercial Director at The Coach Travel Group, said:

"We know how much work goes into organising a school trip, and transport is a major part of that process. Our aim with this partnership is simple: make it easier for schools to organise great trips while helping them access the most competitive coach travel rates we can offer.

"JCA Adventure shares our commitment to making educational travel accessible and straightforward. By working together, we can connect schools with fantastic experiences while taking some of the hassle out of arranging how they get there.

"Across The Coach Travel Group we have operators and vehicles positioned throughout the UK, giving us the ability to support schools locally while benefiting from the scale of a national group."

JCA Adventure has been supporting schools and student groups with educational travel for more than 50 years. JCA has been welcoming young people to its residentials since 1994. Each small group has one instructor for their whole stay, so confidence and learning build from one activity to the next.

Duncan Kemp, General Manager, JCA Operations, said:

“A great residential starts long before a group arrives at JCA. Teachers do a huge amount of planning in the run-up to a trip. When the planning and the journey are both straightforward, students and teachers turn up ready to get stuck in. Working with The Coach Travel Group means we can point schools towards a reliable, great-value option from day one. It takes one more job off their list.”

Notes to editors
Transport bookings are made directly with The Coach Travel Group. Experience Education and its brands, including JCA, are not party to these bookings and do not arrange transport on schools' behalf.
