Collaboration across five established holiday operators supports more efficient brochure production, while Johnsons Coaches records 701 bookings for 1,103 passengers during its two-day launch.
The Coach Travel Group has launched its Summer 2027 holiday brochures across five of its established operators, combining shared expertise and resources with the individual holiday programmes and personal service valued by each operator’s customers.
The new brochures from Barnes, Johnsons Coaches, Jones Holidays, Lucketts and Worthing showcase each business’s carefully selected holidays, reflecting its regional market, customer preferences and distinctive character.
Together, these operators help shape The Coach Travel Group, bringing their own experience, local knowledge and longstanding customer relationships to the wider business. Their individual strengths are central to the Group’s collective success, creating a varied holiday offering built around the customers and communities they serve.
Closer collaboration across brochure planning, production, printing and distribution has helped The Coach Travel Group reduce duplication, make better use of shared resources and deliver cost savings. A more coordinated approach to print procurement and production workflows has supported these efficiencies while preserving the quality and individuality of each brochure.
At Johnsons Coaches, the Summer 2027 brochure launch generated strong customer engagement, with 701 bookings for 1,103 passengers recorded across two days.
The launch began at 7am on Monday 26 October, when members of the SEEMORE Loyalty Club arrived in person to secure their holidays. Telephone bookings opened to loyalty club members at 8am, before bookings opened to the general public at 9am on Tuesday 27 October.
Customers visiting in person were welcomed with complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits while they waited, creating a friendly atmosphere and making the launch an occasion for customers and colleagues alike.
An average of 46.2 calls per hour was recorded across the two days, reflecting strong interest in Johnsons’ Summer 2027 programme and the team’s work in handling enquiries and bookings.
The results provide an encouraging early indication of demand, alongside The Coach Travel Group’s work to deliver its brochure activity more efficiently.
Matt Hobbs, Commercial Director at The Coach Travel Group said:
“Barnes, Johnsons Coaches, Jones Holidays, Lucketts and Worthing each bring something distinctive to The Coach Travel Group. Their heritage, local knowledge and customer relationships help shape who we are, and our strength as a group comes from the businesses and people within it.
“The Summer 2027 brochure programme shows what we can achieve together. By sharing expertise and coordinating production, printing and distribution, we have been able to deliver efficiencies while ensuring each operator continues to present its own holiday programme in its own voice.
“The response at Johnsons Coaches has been particularly encouraging. Welcoming customers through the doors from 7am and recording more than 700 bookings over two days reflects both their enthusiasm for the new programme and the hard work of the team.
“It is a great example of our operators contributing to the success of The Coach Travel Group, with the support of the wider business helping each of them continue to develop and grow.”
The Summer 2027 brochures offer a wide choice of UK and overseas holidays, bringing together the destinations, experiences and trusted service associated with each operator.
The launches demonstrate how The Coach Travel Group’s shared capabilities and the individual strengths of its operators can work together to support efficient operations, strong customer engagement and future growth.
