The Coach Travel Group Supports Innovative New GoStroud Commuter Service to London

The Coach Travel Group is proud to support the launch of a new community-led commuter coach service between Stroud and West Drayton, delivered by Barnes Coaches, one of the group's longest-established businesses.

The new service, operated on behalf of GoStroud, will make its inaugural journey on Monday 7 July and will run three days a week, providing commuters with a reliable and affordable alternative to travelling into London by rail.

Departing Stroud at 6:00am, the coach will arrive in West Drayton at 8:00am, allowing passengers to connect directly with the Elizabeth Line into central London. The return journey leaves West Drayton at 6:15pm, arriving back in Stroud at approximately 8:15pm.

The initiative has been created in response to rising commuting costs, with the new service offering significant savings compared with peak-time rail fares while helping more people access employment opportunities in the capital.

Barnes Coaches has prepared a dedicated PSVAR-compliant vehicle for the contract, complete with onboard tables and newly installed Wi-Fi, ensuring passengers can travel in comfort whether working, relaxing or preparing for the day ahead. Additional vehicles will also be available to maintain service reliability.
